A chill is in the air, but we are still open at the Outdoor Shooting Range with all our options for shooters to enjoy – ten pistol bays with various targets, rifle ranges for short-range shooting and long-range shooting, s***t, trap, 5-stand, and archery with a shooting stand and 3D targets. We are changing to our new Fall Outdoor Shooting Range Hours and opening earlier each day to take advantage of the daylight hours. See you out there!

Saturday-Sunday: 9 AM - 5 PM

The City of Rawlins Offices, Animal Shelter, Community Bus, Landfill, Recycling Center, Downtown Development Authority, Outdoor Shooting Range, and Rawlins Family Recreation Center will be closed Monday, September 1st, 2025, in observance of Labor Day.

The Rochelle Ranch Golf Course will be open regular hours. The Rawlins Police and Fire Departments remain open serving the community every day of the year.

We wish everyone a safe and enjoyable Labor Day weekend!

🎯THANK YOU, RAWLINS! G***K MATCH 2025 WAS A BLAST! 🎯

We want to send out a massive THANK YOU to everyone who made this weekend’s G***K Sport Shooting Foundation - GSSF a huge success! The energy, the sportsmanship, the community… it was all incredible. Mark your calendars now for August 1 and 2, 2026. 💥

171 shooters joined us from all over the country — Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, South Dakota, Colorado, Nebraska, Utah, and, of course, our home state of Wyoming. Whether you traveled from across town or across the country, we’re grateful you chose to spend your weekend with us.

Special shoutout to Wesley Harrison, the Shooting Ranges Advisory Board, the G***k Shoot staff, and every single volunteer who stepped up to make the event run smoothly. Your dedication and effort are what make events like this possible.

One of our participants said it best: "We travel from South Carolina to the West Coast to see family, and the timing of this match is always perfect for us to stop in Rawlins to shoot and volunteer. This was our favorite year yet! We plan to return in 2026."

CLASS IS FULL ---
However there is a wait list!
Jr. Rifle program is a safety and handling class using youth size .22 caliber, primarily single shot rifles. Each class session begins with a discussion of safety rules, what they are and why they’re used. Then students learn the basic handling and use of rifles. Shooting is the last thing done in class. The program includes providing ammunition and both eye and ear protection for students.
