Portage County USBC Bowling in Portage County sanctioned by USBC

Portage County has three USBC certifying groups: the USBC WBA provides service for women only, the USBC BA provides services for both men and women, and USBC Youth provides services for young bowlers. This page is provided by the USBC BA, but will include information from the other two groups when provided to us.

Just a friendly reminder that this Saturday, June 6th, is the Portage County Jamboree Invitational, Luncheon, Annual Meeting, Awards and Annual County Open and Women's Tournament payout. Timeline of all the events is below. For the bowlers participating in the Jamboree on Saturday morning, side pots will be available if you're interested. Also, to any bowlers that are not able to make it to receive their prize money checks from the annual tournament and you wish for someone else to pick it up for you, please remember to contact the association, Shawna or Amanda to give that person permission to pick up your check.

PC JAMBOREE
ANNUAL MEETING & LUNCHEON
NEW TOP THREE PCUSBC AWARDS
ANNUAL PO CO TOURNAMENT PAYOUT

Event timeline for June 6th Jamboree. 300/800 invitational for men and 250/700 invitational for women at 9:30am. Bowl four games, drop your low, highest 3 game scratch score wins. Free entry for those who qualified. Everyone will be notified if they qualified. Paying top three in each division - $200, $100, $50. Side pot action available.

At 1:00PM we will have luncheon, at 1:30PM we will hold the Annual Meeting.

Afterwards we will honor the winners of this year’s county tournament along with the winners of the Jamboree and then for the first time we will be giving out awards for top 3 most over average for men’s and women’s divisions, top 3 highest series men’s and women’s division, and top 3 high average for men’s and women’s division. Those bowler’s will be notified and hopefully all will be able to attend. Payout for the Annual Portage County Tournament will take place immediately following.
