Emma is graduating this year and to say I am proud of the pitcher she has become is an understatement!! She had her 250th career strikeout just a few days ago!
I remember our first lesson in her garage, then our lessons moved to a netted tunnel in the warm months and a full on Dexter style tunnel, to a full blown metal tunnel to pitch in even in the coldest months!
That dedication from not only Emma, but her family as well is why she is the amazing pitcher she is today.
I have been so honored to be her pitching coach and watch her grow into my 6 pitch throwing strike out machine!
I am going to miss our lessons so much, but I am so extremely proud!

If I have ever coached your daughter in any capacity, or even if you just know me and my softball career you will understand just how much I love softball. As sad as I am that the AUSL wasn’t a thing when I would have been eligible to play, I am so beyond excited that softball is finally getting the recognition it deserves. I urge you to have your daughters watch, not only to learn and understand the game, but to see that even these professional players make errors, they don’t only throw strikes! They give up big hits and miss fielding bunts! But they are still having fun and they still love the game.

I’m rooting for the Talons, because their GM Lisa Fernandez is my idol, the pitcher I always looked up to and the reason I follow my softball dreams still to this day through all of my pitchers!
