Welcome back, everyone! This Thursday, we will have an introductory course on STAAD. STAAD is a design software that the team uses every year to design our bridge. We will be meeting in CM 310. Everyone is welcome to join. Make sure to bring your computer, a charger, and a mouse.

We are thrilled to announce that we placed 2nd in all scoring categories, 1st in aesthetics, and 2nd overall at the Rocky Mountain Student Symposium this weekend! Come support Steel Bridge, Concrete Canoe, and ASCE at competition this Friday! The Steel Bridge competition will be held in the Barnett Field House at The Monument. Aesthetics judging starts at 9:30 AM and construction will begin at 10:30 AM. South Dakota Mines will probably build around 3:00 PM.
