Big congratulations to South Dakota Mines student Carter Aispuro for earning four national awards in the College Sports Communications Creative & Digital Design Contest.

A senior computer engineering major and student worker for Hardrocker Athletics, Carter set a new program record with national recognition for his volleyball hype video and Rocker Recap content. Out of more than 2,500 entries from across the country, his creative work stood out among the best in collegiate athletics.

“I am super proud of Carter for these well-deserved awards,” said Luke Kotcher, assistant athletic director of athletic communications. “CSC is the most respected organization in our profession, and to be recognized is unbelievable. Carter represents our student group, Hardrocker Athletics, and South Dakota Mines proudly in his everyday work and fully deserves these awards.”

Hardrocker Athletics Announces 2026 Hall of Fame Class

RAPID CITY, S.D. – South Dakota Mines Athletics has announced the 2026 Hall of Fame class, highlighted by one team and eight individuals who will be inducted on Oct. 17 in the Christensen Hall of Fame and livestreamed on the RMAC Network.
