Subject: Apology and Status Update regarding Holiday Weekend Payouts
Dear Contestants, Contractors, and Partners,
I am writing to address the statement made by Dam Bucking Horses, and to confirm that Sarah and Andy are correct. A planning oversight caused our credit card deposit to be placed on hold in security status over the holiday weekend, preventing funds from being deposited immediately into our account.
Please note that while Dam Bucking Horses brought this to light, they participated as contestants rather than contractors, and their own payouts were not affected by this particular situation.
Since discovering this error, my staff and I have worked tirelessly to resolve the issue and ensure everyone affected is paid. Today, we dispatched the final cashier's checks to the remaining contestants and contractors. In total, it took seven days from identifying the problem to completing all outstanding payments. I take 100% responsibility for this mistake and offer no excuses for the issues it caused. We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience and apologize profusely for this oversight.
Our team acted immediately to correct this problem once it was discovered. I hope you can see our commitment to making things right, and we look forward to welcoming you back to compete with us next year.
