The bike shop was full with participants and volunteers during a recent Vision Bike session in Thrive.

The Vision Bike program helps people in our community earn a bike to use for transportation around town.

Participants in the program learn some basic bike maintenance skills from Love INC volunteers and then apply that knowledge directly to the bike they are earning.

Once they complete the maintenance required to get the bike back in riding shape, our volunteers have a chance to pray for the participants and help get them plugged into a local church (if they don’t already have one).

The Vision Bike participants are then able to leave the same day with a bike a they fixed up, skills and knowledge to keep it running, and be prayed for and invited to a local church.
