Two sweet Long Haired Black Dogs turned in at The Sheridan Lake Marina. They were found on the centennial trail near Sheridan Lake. They are at the marina store and will be taken to the BH Humane Society Shortly.

SHERIDAN LAKE NORTH BOAT LAUNCH will have some delays TOMORROW Thursday, August 27 from 8:00am to approximately 9:00am. The U.S. Forest Service - Black Hills National Forest will be helping to extend the boat ramp and repair the sudden drop off at the end of the ramp. There will be a backhoe and gravel in the area for a short time. Thank you for your patience!

Sheridan Lake is still open today for recreational use! Please exercise caution at the lake today. Give the helicopters and Emergency Personnel space to operate!

🚨 Public Safety Notice 🚨
Due to the wildfire in the Victoria Lake area, the U.S. Forest Service will be using helicopters to collect water from Sheridan Lake for fire suppression operations.
The lake is open, but please avoid the area while helicopters are actively operating. These aircraft fly at very low altitudes and require a clear, unobstructed work area. Any interference from boats, swimmers, drones, or people near the shoreline creates a serious safety hazard for both the flight crews and the public.
Thank you for your cooperation and for helping keep our firefighters and pilots safe as they work to protect our community.

The Marina at Sheridan Lake is looking for a hardworking, dependable individual to join our team!

Position Options:
✅ Seasonal (April–November) or Year-Round
✅ Full-Time or Part-Time
✅ Flexible scheduling for the right candidate

Responsibilities Include:
• Dock and marina maintenance
• Building and grounds upkeep
• Boat and small engine maintenance
• Equipment maintenance (tractors, mowers, etc.)
• Boat winterization
• Fuel dock operations
• General repairs and marina safety

We're Looking For Someone Who:
✔️ Has general maintenance or mechanical experience (marine or automotive experience is a plus!)
✔️ Enjoys working outdoors
✔️ Can safely operate a tractor, pull trailers, operate boats and power tools
✔️ Has a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
