We’ve had a few questions about race day, so here are the details for Friday, July 31st!

💰 PAYOUT + HOLESHOT AWARDS
The payout for Open Allstar & 250 Allstar are listed. PLUS, there will be a $100 Holeshot Award for BOTH Open Allstar and 250 Allstar!

🏆 TROPHIES & MEDALS
1st–3rd place in ALL classes will receive trophies.
For all 50cc classes, every rider finishing outside the top 3 will receive a medal — we want our littlest racers to go home with something to remember the night!

⛽ FUEL GIVEAWAY
We’ll be giving away 5 pails of Renegade HR93 fuel! Huge thanks to our sponsors for helping us add even more to race night.

⚡ E-BIKES
Yes, E-Bikes are allowed!
• Starks may race in the appropriate Open classes
• Surrons may race in Pit Bike Mod Open

📝 REGISTRATION
There is no pre-registration. Registration will be the day of the race starting at 3PM.

Here’s a half lap testing out the fair track, it’s coming together nice! Layout is not finished yet so there will be some small changes but it’s looking like some good racing! Come out July 31st and burn some laps✌️

After five incredible seasons, it’s with mixed emotions that we announce that B-52 Hangar MX will not be reopening.

As some of you may have heard, the Village of Rantoul has sold the building, bringing our time at the hangar to an end.

We want to sincerely thank every rider, family, spectator, sponsor, volunteer, and staff member who supported us over the past five seasons. From weekend practices to special events, we’ve made countless memories and built friendships that we’ll always cherish. None of it would have been possible without this amazing motocross community.

We’d also like to extend a special thank you to the Village of Rantoul for taking a chance on what was, at the time, a pretty wild idea. Their willingness to work with us and their support throughout the years gave us the opportunity to create something truly unique, and we’re incredibly grateful for that partnership.

While we’re sad to see this chapter close, we’re thankful for everyone who helped make B-52 Hangar MX what it became. The memories, friendships, and experiences will stay with us for years to come.

Although the hangar is closing, we’re not done with motocross. We’re excited about what’s ahead and have plans to continue growing the sport by hosting more events at the Champaign County Fairgrounds. Our vision includes expanding to additional night races and weekend events, taking advantage of the fairgrounds’ excellent facilities, including 70 RV campsites with hookups, to create an even better experience for racers and their families.

Our annual Champaign County Fair Motocross race is also returning this year—but with a new night! Instead of Thursday, we’ll be racing on Friday night, July 31st.

We’ll be sharing all the race details in our next post, and we can’t wait to see everyone at the track again. Thank you all for being part of the B-52 Hangar MX family.

🏁 Today kicks off the weekend with OPEN PRACTICE 4-9!
Then Saturday it’s RACE DAY!
