Saturday night was truly amazing being part of the Merrittville Speedway 75th Anniversary Celebration! Fresh off OHSWEKEN SPEEDWAY on Friday night the Niagara Region Vintage Race Car Series was ready to put on a show for the first of two double header weekends of the season! Special shout out to long time friends Steve Longo Melissa Longo making the trec from Pennsylvania with their 34 Ford for the weekend. Hall of Fame driver Andy Imbeault got back behind the wheel of his Vintage Sportsman 99R for some laps. The winner in the Modified Class was Rob Pietz and Sportsman #68 Jens Mortensen both drivers will receive a $25 gift certificate from long time Sponsor Pete's Pizza Lakeshore Road . Mark your calendar for our next event July 3rd Ohsweken Speedway!

Congratulations to last night's winners 🏆 at OHSWEKEN SPEEDWAY Jens Mortensen 1930-60's Sportsman Class and Rob Pietz 1970-80's Modified Class. Rob also took home the $100 HARD CHARGER Award Sponsored by MRM fabrication. Both Driver's also recieved a $25 Gift Certificate from Pete's Pizza Lakeshore Road
