Mother Nature won this time...

RAINED OUT – SUNDAY, AUGUST 2, 2026 🌧️

Unfortunately, due to the weather and the amount of rain we’ve received, today’s racing program at Buxton Speedway (Sunday, August 2nd) has been cancelled.

The pit area and infield have taken on too much rain, making it impossible to safely hold tonight’s event. The safety of our drivers, teams, officials, and fans will always be our top priority.

We know this isn’t the news everyone was hoping for, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding and continued support.

Stay safe, and we’ll see you at the track Saturday August 8th!

Here is your Saturday Night BUXTON SPEEDWAY Race Recap 🏁 Hat's off to BUXTON SPEEDWAY for a great racing surface and for taking the gamble on running as many races under the threat of a rain out. The NRVRS 8 lap heat race was exciting as the group of drivers battled close racing with #51 Bill Profota taking the WIN. The 15 lap Feature included the appearance of Mark Shadwell NEW Vintage car in the mix! When the green flag dropped #247 Alan Wood took the lead for the opening laps until driveline failure opened the door for #9 Scott McPhail who dominated for the Feature WIN in the Modified Class and Bill Profota Won the Coupe Sportsman Class. Well that's a wrap for OHSWEKEN SPEEDWAY last night! A FAST 20 lap, caution free feature made for some exciting racing 🏁 Special guest drivers Jake Ho**er for the #51 Bill Profota Sportsman and Noah Mamo wheeled the #247 Alan Wood Sportsman, it was fun watching the two " young guns" battle it out! Feature Winner 🏆 in Modified was 69ez Rob Pietz and 247 Noah Mamo for Sportsman ( #51 was second). As always we are grateful for Clinton Geoffrey and the whole Ohsweken team to come race at their amazing facility! Next Race August 1st BUXTON SPEEDWAY!
