(May 8, 2026) These are 2 of the 3 Salmon that I landed in yesterdays trip on the water. All 3 were well over 20 inches. I didn't measure and I didn't weigh. Had 3 successful releases as I got them back into the water ASAP

(May 8, 2026) A fantastic, 45 minute trip out on Rangeley. 31 degrees. Rarely does this kind of a trip happened but it did this morning.

(May 7, 2026) A fantastic morning on Mooselook this morning. Long time friend Jon, joined me for an early morning trip this morning. The fish gods were with us this morning as he put 15 salmon in the boat. These fish appeared to be in pretty good shape. Jon loves to enjoy a meal of fresh salmon so he kept this one for the table. Otherwise catch and release was the order of the day.

(May 4, 2026) After I finished fishing a couple of days ago, I got in front of the camera to do a very short narrative on Saturday's trip. I'm going to try to do more of these as we get into the season. Quality is not the best as neither was the mist and rain and snow......
In addition I got up very early this morning with great intentions of going out again but at 28 degrees I decided....... No, warm cup of coffee in the warm cabin sounds better......

(May 2, 2026) Let the fun begin. My first morning on the water. I always try to test everything out before bringing customers on the boat. Had a slight problem with fish finder but I got that resolved and dropped a couple of lines in the water. 32 degrees this morning with some light snow in the air.. The action was very good as I boated 3 nice salmon and kept one for the table this evening. A great way to start the season.

(Sept. 30, 2025) As the season came to an end today, I got a chance to fish for a short while early this morning by myself.This very nice female hit and the battle was on. Some very nice leaps added a lot to this great experience. I was all set up with a tripod in the event that I was able to land a nice fish. After a great fight she finally came to the net. A quick picture and a careful release and she swam away nicely. A great way to end my long and very productive season.

(Aug. 26, 2025) As I said a couple of days ago, Ken and his son, Rob joined me for a great morning on Rangeley. Rob definitely got bragging rights for day with this beautiful male that he nicely brought to the net. Great job to both of you.

(Aug. 23, 2025) Back a while ago, Ken and his son Rob, joined me for a trip on Rangeley. And Rangeley did not disappoint. Ken holds up this very nice fish that he skillfully brought to the net. Great job, Ken.

(Aug. 16, 2025) When I screw up, I have to admit it. This young lady was out on Rangeley with me a short while ago with her husband. I have lost their contact info. And I don't remember her name. But I do remember that she did a great job landing this beauty. Things will slow down soon so that I can get organized again............

(Aug. 11, 2025) Lou usually joins me for one or 2 trips each year. He came with me a couple of times in the early Spring. Wind, rain and cold weather took a toll on our spring trips. This summer was a much different scenario. Here Lou holds a nice healthy salmon that we quickly released.. Nice job, Lou.

(Aug. 9, 2025) A couple weeks ago a large family group staying on Rangeley asked to take them out on Rangeley for an early morning trip. We some very nice fish on this particular morning. Here, David holds up the best of the day. A very large Rangeley salmon. Great job guys.
