(June 11, 2026) Long time customer Tom from central Maine along with his wife, Kim joined me for an early morning trip on mooselook. A beautiful warm and calm morning greeted us as we put 5 nice salmon in the boat. Tom took top honors for the day with this very nice male salmon. Kim was not far behind as she brought this very salmon to the net

(June 9, 2026) I recently had a late cancellation. At this time of year, I rarely get a chance to fish by myself. It was an absolutely beautiful morning out on Rangeley. I no sooner got the lines set when this great female hit and the battle was on. She put on a great show and after quite a few minutes she came to the net. She was successfully released and completed this wonderful experience. What a way to start the day.

(June 2, 2026) Kyle and Andy have literally fished all over the world and have come to the Rangeley Region for the first time. I have been lucky enough to be asked to share some of Rangeley's fish with these new customers and friends. Here, Kyle holds up a very nice male that he nicely brought to the net. Great job, guys.

(May 29, 2026) One of my favorite parts of what I do fishing is to be a part of 2 guys spending quality time on the water. Leo & Lou make an annual trip to the Rangeley area to fish with me for 2 days. It's great to watch these 2 friends enjoy each others company and catch some fish. Yesterday on Mooselook and today on Rangeley. It was a bit windy and cool....... But the fish didn't mind as we put 5 nice salmon in the boat today. Great time for all.

(May 28, 2026) With a cool breeze blowing this morning on Mooselook, Lou and Leo had a day. Both of these guys have been with me a number of times. And we have endured some cold weather. Today, the fish helped out as the cold seems to go away when the fish are biting. Here, Lou holds a very healthy Mooselook salmon. 8 fish in the boat this morning. This one will make it to the table.

(May 26, 2026) A couple of days ago, after a cancellation, I was able to spend a couple of hours out on the lake for myself. As I was traveling across the lake at daybreak, for a few special minutes, the sky exploded with color. And I was able to record with my phone. I was lucky.

(May 24, 2026) I had a late cancellation for this morning (client had medical stuff). Life happens. But it gave me a chance to go out myself. And another great morning it was. Sunrise was spectacular as was the fishing. 3 very nice salmon in the boat with 3 successful releases. Then back at camp for a hot cup of coffee. Life is good....

(May 22, 2026) Some might say we were dedicated but others more than not would say we were nuts..... But at 30 degrees this morning, the bite was on. Mooselook allowed us to bring 12 nice salmon to the net this brisk morning. I personally had a first on this morning by slipping and falling on the ice covered floor of the boat....... On May 22.....
