Hello folks,
Finally, Still, no surgery date so I have made the decision not to do any guiding this year. I will be back strong next year so I can give it all 100%. It pains me but if I do not feel comfortable to bring you all out into the wilds then I am not doing my job as required as a Maine Registered Guide.
I am available to answer any questions or concerns you may have wish you a very successful
sporting season!!

The Spring like temps we have been finally experiencing instead of the flip flop temps from below zero to high 40's are levelling off to a nice 52 today and a high possibly with 60's tomorrow but of course mtn. Snow on Saturday. We ended up with another 12-16" of heavy wet snow last Saturday so why not more!!
Our lakes, rivers stream & ponds can use it and help us get out of this drought!
It was very common just a few short year ago say 5+ to have a good 6+ft of snow in the woods!!
We have not had that and therefore we do not get any snow melt to help fill the water bodies we so desperately need to sustain the fisheries up here in Northwestern Mtns. of Maine!!
Praying we do not have another summer like last.
Plus, the fact we may get back to guiding again, now wouldn't that be a good change!!
Stay tuned as there has been a lot of movement of the animals and we are tracking them daily to see where they are heading to lay up for the Spring/Summer!
Pray for Ukraine!!

Good Day to everyone!
As you all know we had to postpone our season last year due to Covid restrictions and as a result and the ongoing Pandemic we are making a decision at this time to cancel all Mooselook Tours until Further notice. Until we are allowed and can safely proceed to resume Tours I will keep in touch and Pray you all Stay safe and well and hope we all are vaccinated as soo as possible. This greatly is not what I had hoped for but we are on the brink of cancelling this part of my business and just staying with Guided Fly fishing trips.

Good morning to all,
Really do not know where the summer has gone!?
It started late June, saw many high over 90+ temps and not even into September yet and low 40's.
This as we all are well aware has been a very difficult year trying to adjust to a new protected way of life as we know it.
I had to make tough decisions and cancel all my guiding fly fishing, kayaking, Moose Tours.
Would not take the chance of catching and spreading the Virus.
Some folks were understanding and others not so much.
To them I offer my apologies as it was out of caution & care, and When you return next year, I will have the ball rolling and keep my eye on the Moose heard.
Now that is if we have some form of vaccine or we have conquered this pandemic!
I pray 🙏 for each and everyone of you and your families.
Please note, go take a walk in the woods, sit by a babbling brook, stream, and just listen!!
Reconnect with nature and mother earth, become one again breath, take in the scents, pine, fir, balsams, water, earth.
Enjoy what is given to us free.
I will be ready in the Spring or perhaps this winter to take you further back into the wilds of Northern Maine, Yes out of your comfort zone, but always in safety.

It has been awhile since posting, please we have all of you in our thoughts & prayers, Stay Safe and hope in months to come, we can return to a new normalacy!
Get outside go for a walk, take a breath of fresh air and of course SOCIAL DISTANCE!,
