Lessons - Classes - VideoAnalysis - Data - Advising

We offer a full remote online training portal and comprehensive systems development program for coaches and teams. Since 2017, 75 of our athletes have moved on to college programs and 45 players have earned division 1 or division 2 scholarships. Our players have earned over $4 million dollars in scholarship money. Our system includes a comprehensive assessment and movement screen that serves as a

baseline for our recommendations and individualized programming. We leverage cumulative video and data collection along with the knowledge from our experience as successful collegiate and professional players to bridge the gap between training and performance for our athletes. We help our players succeed at game speeds by giving them a variety of quantitative and qualitative resources to assist in their technical development. Check us out at www.raxhax.com or our socials and learn why so many players choose us to help them with both offseason and in-season needs

Hitting for power = moving fast with good direction. Hard to have good direction without tight connection from launch

Stop running from the challenge. Lean in and go to work. Allow yourself (or your players) to try, fail, reflect and grow. Growth isn't about perfection. It's about honesty, effort, and taking the lessons that competition provides. Quality training should be a huge piece in driving this process. That's what real player development is all about

Consistency - a non-negotiable component of metric growth. Side by side comparison of '29 from 1 month into training at and 1 year+ into training here --- capped off with a PR this week - . Progress is rarely linear - it takes showing up day in, day out, whether you feel like it or not, to put the work in necessary to make lasting change. Super exciting to see how far we have come

A lot of young hitters are taught extension at contact with no concept of connection/holding space - locked out arms at contact very rarely produce the velocity or accuracy you're looking for. Despite the depth of the contact point he pulled this pitch. Too often back elbow extension is encouraged when the wrist of the top hand should be the final move into contact

ADJUSTABILITY + 2K approach. Example ^

Baseball is a game of adjustments, and no task exemplifies this more than hitting, particularly with 2 strikes. Some hitters often feel like they need to sacrifice speed and power with 2k in an effort to put the ball in play and prevent strikeouts. Other hitters opt to repeat their A-swings and biggest moves even with 2k, trading more swing and miss for more potential slugging .
Our approach is that if you can cultivate a repeatable launch position, and stress the ex*****on of that launch position with enough game like training reps, you can build multiple usable setups when needed. This might look like a modified 2k load with no leg kick, and this might look like a bigger leg kick move in advantage counts (3-1/2-0 etc). Learning which moves limit or enhance speed / power / accuracy and understanding when to apply an A or a B move can make you a dangerous, adjustable hitter in game. The consistency and refinement of physical variance can only be achieved in high quality, detail oriented training environments. Mindless, passive repetitions will not create physical or strategic mastery
ADAPTABILIDAD + Enfoque para 2 strikes. Ejemplo ^

Low Quality Video / High Quality Swing - '2026

03/16/2026

As much as approach/tactics/strategy/mindset are critical to hitting performance, remember that mechanics are still a huge piece to the puzzle. Not in the expectation that we will fire perfectly on every swing. Obviously that's an unreasonable expectation. But your ability to adjust is very much determined by where your body moves when fooled, and certain core principles (turning tight / front leg bracing / vertical barrel) are common denominators for all hitters who hit for power and average. This is Arenado from 2018-2019 - go look at his numbers back then - this is how his body moved against an off-speed pitch he wasn't hunting. We want to build / stress / test patterns in training so that the good core patterns show up unconsciously when stressed in the game!
