Friends of Fancy Creek Range Proud to serve northeast Kansas for over 20 years! The range is open during the first and third weekends of each month, 10 am to 4pm.

Friends of Fancy Creek Range (FFCR)

Open: 1st & 3rd weekend of each month only. Mission Statement:

To establish a safe shooting environment for the general public and families that could also be utilized to improve Hunter Education, 4 - H Shooting Sports, Scouting, Women’s programs and other Youth groups. Who/What are we:

FFCR is a 501(c)(3) non-profit outdoor firearm range, operated and maint

ained by its members in cooperation with Tuttle Creek State Park and the Kansas Dept. of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism. Open to the general public the first and third weekends; also every Sunday in October and November. Four ranges available: 1) 100m rifle range, 2) 50m rifle/pistol range, and 3) 2 pistol ranges. 1) Daily Attendance Fee (non-member) - $15

- Annual $150/yr Everyone in domicile the included. Calendar year.
- Lifetime $1500 onetime fee. Everyone in the domicile included. How to find us:

We are located approximately ½ mile E of the junction of HWY 77 and HWY 16. GPS Coordinates N39 26'20,7" W96 44'40.8". Since the range is within a State Park, a park permit is required to enter the range. A self service station near the entrance is available for purchase of daily permits.

Happy Mother’s Day!

Another great day on the range! The wind was light but constantly switching, and the scores definitely reflected the challenge.

Congrats to Rob Nixon on the BR50 win, and to 11-year-old Nolan Michael on the Silhouette win!

The Silhouette match came down to the wire, with Nolan Michael and Kerry Moore battling it out in a shootout for the overall win. Nolan squeaked by and took the victory by a single shot — it was a blast to watch!

A huge thank you to Kerry Moore and Lisa Eales Moore for all of the hard work you put into making these matches happen. We appreciate everything you do for the shooting community!

Benchrest at Fancy Creek this past weekend definitely wasn’t for the faint of heart… 🌬️🌧️ Wind, light rain, and some less-than-friendly conditions—but that didn’t stop this crew from showing up and putting rounds exactly where they needed to go. Tough weather just makes tough shooters!
