Friends of Fancy Creek Range Proud to serve northeast Kansas for over 20 years! The range is open during the first and third weekends of each month, 10 am to 4pm.

Friends of Fancy Creek Range (FFCR)

Open: 1st & 3rd weekend of each month only. Mission Statement:

To establish a safe shooting environment for the general public and families that could also be utilized to improve Hunter Education, 4 - H Shooting Sports, Scouting, Women’s programs and other Youth groups. Who/What are we:

FFCR is a 501(c)(3) non-profit outdoor firearm range, operated and maintained by its members in cooperation with Tuttle Creek State Park and the Kansas Dept. of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism. Open to the general public the first and third weekends; also every Sunday in October and November. Four ranges available: 1) 100m rifle range, 2) 50m rifle/pistol range, and 3) 2 pistol ranges. Range Useage:

1) Daily Attendance Fee (non-member) - $15

2) Memberships (no daily fee unless noted):
- Annual $150/yr Everyone in domicile the included. Calendar year.
- Lifetime $1500 onetime fee. Everyone in the domicile included. How to find us:

We are located approximately ½ mile E of the junction of HWY 77 and HWY 16. GPS Coordinates N39 26'20,7" W96 44'40.8". Since the range is within a State Park, a park permit is required to enter the range. A self service station near the entrance is available for purchase of daily permits.

This is the current plan for Sept.

Open 5th and 6th, 10-4
Open 9th, 4:30-7:30, daylight permitting
Open 12th, 10-4
BR50, Match 0n the 13th.
Open 18th, 12-6, 19th and 20th, 10-4
NRL22, Match on the 27th.

As we get closer to Oct I will have information as far as any closings so that they can finish the renovations and clean up.

The range will be open the weekend of the 5th & 6th, Wed the 9th, and Fri, Sat and Sun, 18th, 19th and 20th. Please check back over the next few days as I am checking on the BR50, the NRL22 and any other extra days that I can arrange.
