Kamren Q&A

Q - When did you start wrestling?
A - I started wrestling at the age of 5, wrestled through youth, modified, and varsity.

Q - What is your favorite memory from Varsity?
A - My favorite memory during varsity is the hotel stays.

Q - Do you have any advice for up and coming wrestlers?
A - My advice is, win or lose, always stay committed to becoming better. Never let a loss determine your self-worth on the mat. Stay humble and respectful. Take the opportunity and do off-season tournaments and remember to always have fun.

Q - What are your plans after High School?
A - My plan after school is to go for criminal justice and continue wrestling through college.

Q - Who would you like to thank and why?
A - I would like to thank my coaches for always believing in my potential and pushing me to work hard. The bond isn't just coach and athlete we are a family. I would also like to thank my parents for always supporting me and putting in the work with me.

We asked Parker some questions too -

Q - When did you start wrestling?
A - I started wrestling when I was in 4th grade.

Q - What is your favorite memory from Varsity?
A - My favorite memory was when I took 6th at sectionals by upsetting the 5th seed.

Q - Do you have any advice for up and coming wrestlers?
A- There are going to be days you hate this sport. Those are the days that decide who you become. Show up anyway. Push each other. Respect the grind and don't rush through this, it ends faster than you think.

Q - What are your plans after High School?
A - I plan to attend college before entering the police academy with the goal of becoming a state police officer.

Q - Who would you like to thank and why?
A - I want to thank Coach Conley and Coach Joe for their constant guidance, belief, and dedication. They pushed me to work harder and never settle for less. I'm also incredibly grateful to my parents for always being there for me, encouraging me through every challenge, and holding me to a high standard. All of you have played a huge role in shaping not just my success, but who I am as a person, and I wouldn't be where I am today without your support.

Q - When did you start wrestling?
A - 7th Grade

Q - What is your favorite memory from Varsity Wrestling?
A - I remember a match I lost but coach told me he was proud of how I fought the entire time. That stuck with me more than any win.

Q- Do you have any advice for up and coming wrestlers?
A - Yes, when you start believing in yourself you can accomplish anything.

Q - What are your plans after high school?
A - I am entering straight into the workforce.

Q - Who would you like to thank and why?
A - I would like to thank Coach Conley, Coach Joe and my Mom and Mike for always pushing me to be and do my best.
