The USCA Tour Modified Series will be off tonight, the race will be rescheduled to next Monday night in a set of Twin 50's. We have something good in the works! Announcement to come soon!

Tonight the USCA Grand National (ARCA) Series returns to action after an extended break for 150 laps of action at the Rockingham Speedway in North Carolina! The event will be ran under iRacing hosted sessions and will be open to all drivers who have at minimum a class C license and 1000+ iRating.

After a delay earlier this year, the USCA Grand National (ARCA) Series returns to action tomorrow night as the 2026 inaugural season resumes at the legendary Rockingham Speedway!

Race number three of the season will put the Grand National field to the test for 150 laps around The Rock as the battle for the championship officially gets back underway.

Practice will kick off at 7:00 PM EST, qualifying will be at 8:00 PM EST and the race will take the green flag at 8:10 PM EST. The wait is over. The season continues. It’s time to go racing again at The Rock!

Tonight, the USCA VVR Tour Modified Series will visit the Lanier National Speedway for 100 laps of action in what will be race number two of the 2026 season, the Labor Day Classic at Lanier!

The event will be hosted under iRacing hosted sessions and open to all drivers who hold a class C License and above, with a 1200 iRating or above. Come out and join us for what should be a fun night of racing!

Some may have noticed that our September 21 event at Hickory Motor Speedway is scheduled for 153 laps, rather than the originally planned 150. That change is intentional.

The additional three laps will make the event 153 laps in honor of Modified racing legend Melvin “Puddin” Swisher, who proudly owned and raced the iconic No. 53 for many years.

Melvin was a familiar name and face in Modified racing, competing weekly at Bowman Gray Stadium while also racing throughout the region with the Southern Modified Tour and in numerous special events and series. His No. 53 became a recognizable part of Modified racing in the Carolinas, and his legacy continues to be remembered by those who watched, raced with, and knew him.

In recognition of that legacy, when the USCA Tour Modified Series takes the green flag at Hickory Motor Speedway on September 21, we’ll race 153 laps in memory of Puddin Swisher.

Below is a video produced prior to Melvin’s passing that shares some of his story and provides a glimpse into the history behind the man and the No. 53.

We’re proud to honor his life and his contributions to Modified racing with 153 laps at Hickory.
