Our croquet singles ladder will resume for the month of September!
The goal of the ladder is simple: to encourage members to play with different opponents, enjoy organized matches, and have fun in a relaxed and friendly format.
Here is how it works:
Sign-up: Please reply directly to this email to sign up. Initial placement on the ladder will be determined by drawing names randomly out of a hat.
Challenges: You may challenge anyone up to three spots above you on the ladder. The top three players can challenge anyone up to three spots below them.
Match Format: Matches will follow the Golf Croquet format, playing the best 2 out of 3 games. The first player to 7 points wins the game.
Reporting Results: Once your match is complete, the winner should text or email the result and the opponent's name. You do not need to include the exact scores.
On Sunday or Monday of each week, an updated ladder will be emailed to you
Players are responsible for contacting opponents and arranging mutually convenient match times. If you plan to be out of town for a week or two in September, you are still welcome to participate!
