As I finish my final week with our 18U team, I can’t help but reflect on this chapter and get excited for what’s next.

This fall, Firecrackers Leles will have 23 teams from 10U–18U. 💥

Stepping away from coaching one team doesn’t mean I’m stepping away from coaching. It means my impact grows.

You’ll see me at more practices, working alongside our coaches and athletes. You’ll see me at our biggest showcases, leading our Select/Pathway teams, mentoring coaches, evaluating talent, and continuing to help families navigate the recruiting process.

I’ve been fortunate enough to experience this game at the highest level our sport has to offer—college softball, representing Team USA, and playing professionally. Those experiences shaped who I am, and now it’s my responsibility to pass that knowledge on.

We are, and always will be, a competitive organization. That won’t change.

My mission has never been to have every athlete follow the exact path I did.

My mission is to help every athlete maximize their potential and give every coach the tools to lead, teach, and inspire the next generation.

Instead of impacting one roster, I now have the opportunity to impact 21 teams.

🚨🚨Big News! Introducing Firecrackers Leles Veasey 2028 🥎

Jack & KK Veasey have been part of the Firecrackers family for the past six years, helping build the organization alongside Jenae Leles and Thomas Neal. Their leadership has helped shape the Firecrackers Leles culture and player-first philosophy.

Over the past two years alone, the Veaseys have helped 35 athletes commit to play college softball. Their focus is on finding the right fit for every athlete—not just the highest level—through honest recruiting guidance, individualized player development, and a highly competitive national schedule that provides maximum college exposure.
