2023 AQHA (pending) Gelding

Trygg is a 13.2hh. He just got back from 100 days at Janssen Performance Horses for training. In those 100 days they had him on the flag, used him as a turn back horse, gathered cow calf pairs and heeled some calves on him. When loading the calves, he pushed them with his chest all the way into the trailer. Nothing really bothers this little guy. Since he’s been home, he was given almost two months off and picked right back up where he was. Although Trygg is pretty laid back, I’d still recommend an intermediate to advance little cowboy/cowgirl for him since he is still early in his training. He’s priced in the lower $xx,###.

We went and saw Trygg and Larry today at training. Trygg is doing amazing, Larry not so much. After much discussion with Bob Jansen, we’ve decided to terminate his boy parts and held him. Trygg is still being discussed.

Our hope was for Larry to be an amazing performance horse and stand him at stud, but at the end of the day we have to do what’s best for him. Hopefully this will help his brain cells connect and make him a great using horse
