ARAA Family-

Like you, we have been anxiously awaiting the groundbreaking and construction of our future home. Unfortunately, due to some unforeseen circumstances and pending litigation, the project is paused and will be delayed. We are still building a dome and will do so in the near future.

We don't have a firm timeline at this point but rest assured, we are exploring every avenue to bring our kids and community what they so richly deserve.

We hope to be able to bring a project update to you all in the coming weeks.

On Tuesday, February 14 at 7:00pm, the Anoka Ramsey Athletic Association dome project will be presented to Ramsey City Council for approval.
The ARAA Dome will be a place generations of Northwest Metro athletes will call home, as well as, an economic driver for the city of Ramsey and surrounding communities. We are thrilled that the hard work of our parents, athletes, and board members is coming to fruition with this project, and cannot wait to break ground.

We would be honored and humbled if you and your athletes joined us on the 14th at Ramsey Municipal Center to show support and excitement. Kids, put your jerseys on and show out that maroon!

ARAA will begin soliciting bids for various aspects of the dome project in the coming weeks. We firmly believe the dome is a community-shaping project and thus, want to give every opportunity we can to local businesses to be a part of it.

If you know of a business interested in bidding, please have them fill out the form below so we can get them on a list of potential subcontractors to provide to the general contractor that is chosen. The link will be active until February 3rd.

This week we took the largest leap our association has ever taken to expand our operations and bring more opportunities to more kids. We closed on the land for our future home Wednesday, August 3rd.

Over the last eight months, we have taken many steps to ensure we were purchasing a piece of land that was viable for our project. This involved many conversations with a variety of stakeholder groups, environmental studies, and work with the city of Ramsey.

Throughout the process this far, we have been fairly quiet about our progress on the project due to some sensitivity in negotiations with partners, financing, and our friends with the city. With the most vital component of our project, the land closing completed we will be providing regular updates as things solidify and final plans become crystal clear.

Our next steps include continued conversations with stakeholder groups, final dome design, and beginning construction! While we don’t have firm timelines on these steps, we have a number of very interested partners that are motivated to move as quickly as we are. We cannot wait to hit the ground running and bring the kids in our community world-class facilities to help them grow their game in the sports they love.
