Colorado Springs will definitely be missed.
I gratefully got invited to the American legion junior
shooting 3p for the top 15 in the U.S, I ended up second
the place overall after finals, where I had to catch up 13
points to first place and managed to tie several
times, when finally I was behind one point.
Meanwhile, I was in second place for prone and
standing positions. Finally, I got gold for having the
highest score in the finals, 94.2/100 in standing.
One of my favorite things about these matches is
how close all the athletes and chaperones get to
each other. As well as the overwhelming support
from EVERYONE. Getting to know so many athletes
relieved so much stress and made my time better in
Colorado. From Emme creating a group chat,
Meeting in the arcade or in the lobby before and
after matches, going out together, walking around
downtown seeing the crazy people, cutting Austin's
hair, giving and getting many hugs after finals,
and cheering on all the athletes for their performance.
So many memories I am extremely grateful for.
Everyone is so incredibly talented, and I cannot wait to see what the future brings.
