First Mississippi River run of 2026! With MN bass fishing open year round, it took a minute to pattern the April smallies in the shallow, no-current backwaters. Once we did, .hunter18 and I stuck a 17.3 pound 5-fish limit real quick. Great start to the year!

Another stellar evening on the Mississippi last night! The browns have been feeding hard this July—always a blast chasing them when the water’s high and the current’s ripping. That’s when the biggin’s tend to show themselves!
