Abundance Over Scarcity
Someone once told me, “I would never post another professional in my field. Why would I take away from my own business?”
That statement has always stayed with me…not because I agree with it, but because it made me question how often we allow scarcity to shape the way we show up.
I see it differently.
I believe in abundance. I believe there is room for all of us to grow, serve, thrive, and succeed.
I believe in the African proverb: “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”
When I share another professional’s work, celebrate their business, recommend their services, or connect someone to someone who can serve them better, I don’t see it as taking something away from me.
I see it as community. Collaboration. Connection. Collective growth.
Someone else’s light does not dim mine.
Their success does not diminish mine.
Their opportunity does not mean there is less available for me.
There is enough.
Enough clients.
Enough opportunities.
Enough impact.
Enough room to grow.
I choose to flow from abundance, not scarcity.
And I genuinely believe we are more powerful when we stop competing for the same piece of the pie and start asking ourselves how we can make the table bigger.
We don’t have to rise alone. We can rise together. 💛
