Weather is looking like it’s going to be a beautiful morning for some baseball!

Outlaws Baseball is hosting an 12u A baseball tryout on July 20th, 2024 and 10am at Price Fields - Field 1 in Bartlesville, OK. Players cannot turn 13 before May 1st or must be in 6th grade.

Outlaws Baseball stands on a solid foundation of learning the fundamentals and development, first. We don’t play “daddy ball”. Best player plays, PERIOD in that position. Every position on the field and batting lineup is 100% open. We will start at ground zero and then move on as the team progresses. Mechanics and baseball IQ will be our main focus. We will work extremely hard and we will drill until we can’t drill anymore. We coach hard, but also have the mentality that baseball is a game of failure. This is the easiest program to play for in the country. Strike out? No big deal. Bad day on the mound? You’ll have those from time to time. Missed a couple ground balls? Shake it off, get it back the next play. All that being said, the players are expected to play like their hair is fire, be self aware, and self adjusting. Instilling the mentality that the world isn’t going to come to an end if they make a mistake is of paramount importance here. We have roughly 5 boys coming back from our spring roster, and are looking for 6-7 more to fill our fall team.

**Pitching and catching experience is a major plus.**

Outlaws baseball took the Outlaw name due to the way we operate our program. We are different than most programs in our area. We don’t ring chase. We are 100% development based. We keep costs as low as possible and are transparent about where your money is going. We do not pay dues. Coaches are not paid. We divide the costs incurred by the team equally across the roster. We also do a fundraiser to help out with costs and are open to sponsors! In the fall, we will likely practice in Bartlesville and play league games in Collinsville, OK and a fall state tournament in either Broken Arrow or Jenks. We will practice twice per week and play two games each Sunday. Fall season will run from the beginning of September to the first weekend in November. Spring time will be a little different and we will cross that bridge when we get there depending on how quickly the boy’s ability progresses. In our opinion, more games does not equal better ball players, more practice does. Ultimately, we are big in preparation for kids making the transition from youth league into school ball.

We are looking for young men and their families with these attributes:

- Good attitude
- Respectful
- Dedicated
