Ourour team began sprigging the new ultradwarf bermudagrass greens at Lonnie Poole Golf Course. Sprigging is the process of planting live bermudagrass stems into the prepared growing surface, where they'll establish the dense, healthy turf that will become our new putting greens.
While the course may look a little different today, every sprig planted brings us one step closer to smoother, faster and more consistent playing conditions.
This renovation is an investment in the future of Lonnie Poole Golf Course, providing:
