A open door policy creates enough emotional safety for your child to communicate honestly with YOU, the adult, and then you can handle what needs to be handled. Be their safe place. Be their covering. Be the parent who keeps the door open.

A child’s prayer can be heard too. The same way that God hears us, He hears them. Take some time out to pray with your children.

1 Peter 5:8 “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.

In this season it’s important that you cover your children. And if that’s something you’re not clear on how to navigate, tap in this week. Let’s get on the right track.

There’s a moment when you stop asking, “Am I really supposed to be doing this?” and you realize…
I’m right where I need to be. 🙏🏽
The conversations. The clients. The confirmations. The growth. Even the challenges that pushed me to become a better coach.
God didn’t bring me into this work just to give advice. He positioned me to help people see what they couldn’t see while they were in the middle of the chaos.
I’m not chasing a title. I’m walking in an assignment.
And the more I do this work, the more I realize…
Coaching isn’t just something I do. It’s a part of who I’m becoming. 🤍

As the saying goes, handle what you can control. Be a good steward in YOUR role as a parent.

Sometimes the greatest strength isn’t being a warrior, it’s being patient.

A warrior knows how to fight.
A patient person knows when not to.

Patience is not weakness. It takes strength to remain calm when you could react, to wait when you could rush, and to trust God when you could take matters into your own hands.

High-conflict co-parenting can keep you in a cycle of watching, reacting, and anticipating. But peace comes when you stop allowing their behavior to occupy space in your mind.

You finally said NO… and now you feel guilty. Here’s why.

You’re coming out of cycles that didn’t respect you, protect you, or benefit you.

So when you finally step outside of what once felt “normal,” it can feel uncomfortable.

You may fear the response you’ll receive.

You may worry about the tension it could cause.

You may even question yourself because you’re not used to choosing you.

But listen:

Guilt does not always mean you made the wrong decision. Sometimes, it means you’re breaking a pattern you were conditioned to tolerate.

Boundaries were never created to please the next person.

They were created to protect you, your values, your well-being, and your peace.

You don’t have to abandon your boundary just because someone is uncomfortable with it.

You’re allowed to say no.
You’re allowed to change the pattern.

You’re allowed to choose peace, even when choosing peace feels unfamiliar.

Stop debating your parenthood because of the conflict that someone else is creating. Look at the bigger picture.
