The 2026-27 season is right around the corner, and it’s not too late to set up your in-season nutrition and mental skills program for your team. By combining preseason foundation sessions with consistent in-season check-ins, athletes build habits that enhance performance, recovery, confidence, and team culture, without overwhelming teams’ already busy schedules.

The program is led by Rock Performance and Katie Peterson, PsyD, LP with optional add-ons for athletic training and recruiting education. Contact us today to learn more.

The Girls & Women's Hockey Academy is dedicated to helping female hockey players develop both on and off the ice. We believe that becoming your best athlete requires more than technical skills—it requires confidence, proper nutrition, mental resilience, injury prevention, and a strong support system.

Our all-women team of experts includes sports nutritionists, mental performance coaches, athletic trainers, and recruiting advisors who understand the unique needs of female hockey players. Through workshops, team programs, clinics, and special events, we provide athletes, parents, and coaches with the education and resources needed to support long-term success.

At GWHA, our mission is simple: to empower the next generation of girls and women in hockey with expert guidance, meaningful mentorship, and the tools to thrive in sport and in life.

A look into the off-season with Courtney ⛰️📸🥾

Courtney recently went on her first backpacking trip. She trekked to Kamas Lake in the Uinta Mountains in Utah. 🎒🏕️

Backpacking is a great way to connect with nature, keep active, and take a break from her busy schedule! ⛰️🌤

The 2026-27 hockey season is right around the corner. Ensure your team is equipped with a mental skills and nutrition program that works for your team

This is designed for athletes to build habits that enhance performance, recovery, confidence, and team culture, without overwhelming teams’ already busy schedules.

The program is led by a certified sports nutritionist and a mental performance coach/sports psychologist, with optional add-ons for athletic training and recruiting education.

This is NOT a one-size-fits-all approach. We create a season-long program that works for your team, on your schedule, within your budget.

We understand that no two teams are alike. That's why we have regular check-ins with your players and coaches in between workshops to get to know your group, and meet them where they're at.

I know the importance of women's role models in sports because I lived it.

Growing up, I looked up to athletes who showed me what was possible. Seeing women compete at the highest level made me believe that I belonged in the game too. Their success gave me confidence, motivation, and someone to aspire to become.

That's why we have an all-female staff of women's hockey role models. because we want to be the reason another little girl believes she can do it too. 💙🏒
