Marlins of Raleigh Marlins of Raleigh is the strongest swim program in Raleigh, NC. We supply the triangle with great year-round, seasonal, and swim lesson programs.

Started in June 2001 by long-time Raleigh area Coach, Paul Silver, the Marlins made an immediate impact on swimming in the area. That first summer saw two MOR swimmers place in the top-8 at the SE Senior Sectional Championships. Each year has proven more successful than the last due to the dedicated professio

nal coaching staff, hard-working swimmers and enthusiastic parents. At MOR, success has been occurring at the highest levels. Over the past few years the MOR team has produced/achieved:

- One 2008 Beijing Olympian
- A semifinalist at 2008 US Olympic Trials; 7 qualifiers
- 6 qualifiers at 2012 US Olympic Trials
- 13 qualifiers at 2016 US Olympic Trials
- 3 US Junior World team members
- 7 US National Junior team members
- Over 200 USA Swimming Scholastic All-Americans
- Over 100 collegiate swimmers
- 1st Place 2015 & 2019 Futures Championships
- 1st Place 2008 & 2011 NCS Senior Championships
- 1st Place 2008 & 2009 Fall States 12U Championships
- 3rd Place 2021 NC SC AG Championships
- 3rd Place 2021 ESSZ AG Sectional Championships
- 4th Place Spring 2011 Senior Sectional Championship
- More than 40 North Carolina Swimming State Records

MOR held its annual MOR Speedo Awards Ceremony and Senior Recognition Night on April 18, 2026. The annual event celebrates the success of the 2025 LC - 2026 SC Season and takes time to celebrate our graduating Seniors.
There were awards for every swimmer and recognition of our Swim-A-Thon fundraisers, Highest Nationally ranked swimmers and Volunteer of the Year.
Two time US Olympic Coach, Chris Plumb, conducted a butterfly clinic for all our swimmers who raised a minimum $300 at Swim-A-Thon. Coach Plumb then spoke at the MOR Speedo Awards Ceremony. Congratulations to all of our graduates!
