Hi Instagram!

Where have I been? Right here. Not posting, not sharing, really just taking time in the moment when I’m on MY time.

I recently started my DREAM job working with and it fills a space I’d been trying to fill for years through social media. Instagram was where I connected with the Blogilates and Popflex community before it became such a huge part of my life. So… now that I work full time filling their social pages with content, I’m so stuck as to what to put on my own. What is my social media presence? Do I want one?

I’m stepping back in here to try out a new vibe. I think I want this space to be more of a real look into what’s going on with me at a more current pace. No planned out posts, no super organized feed, NO NICHES.

If something makes me happy, brings me growth or looks aesthetic to me, you’ll see it here. I’m tired of the business vibe. I want to talk to you more, say what I think and just relate.

Things like meditation, being still and literally relaxing are hard for me. I like to move, accomplish and never sit still. This makes healing my overworked adrenals and lowering stress EXTRA hard! “Just relaxing” isn’t going to happen.

Tip: what is relaxing for some is not relaxing for all. Walking in the sunshine is more relaxing to me than sitting in the dark meditating and trying not to think about what I’ve got to do next or the weird itch on my face while I’m trying to be still.
——
I think meditation can be a lot of things. Walking outside and clearing your mind, putting your phone down and looking out the window, reading…
——
Don’t get too bogged down with someone else’s definition of relaxing. Your body will tell you what works best!
