Someone quit the gym after 2 months saying we need more mirrors, so let’s talk about it! You don’t need more mirrors. You may have convinced yourself you do, but you don’t. Why? Because you *cannot* focus internally on a lift and simultaneously visually watch your form in a mirror. With any level of any appreciable weight, this plan goes out the window. If you have the capacity to retain information you see with load on your back, the load likely wasn’t heavy enough to trigger a form breakdown. If it was heavy, you cannot process your form while simultaneously trying to fix it in real time. Imagine an Olympic lifter, track and field, basketball player, golfer - or any athlete in any sport ever trying to real time improve their technique. It doesn’t happen. You need to either video it and watch it, or hire a coach. So that leaves option 3 - you wanna look at yourself more. Also another thing you definitely don’t need to do. Grow up. If you want to look at yourself more, go to a gym that caters to people who have a strong need to look at themselves.
