The Raleigh park planners have been busy all year working on the schematic design for Neuse River Park. The great river access and play waves are still in the design. But they want to hear from the public again about what to keep in the plan. Please stop by the meeting on December 17th and let them know what you like! Thank you... again!!

The Triangle is one step closer to having a unique access to the Neuse River for paddlers and non paddlers. It will feature two playwaves that will be fun for kayakers at certain levels and great for tubing at other levels. Great news!! The Raleigh Parks, Recreation and Greenways Advisory Board approved the master plan for the Neuse River Park last night almost unanimously! Whitewater is currently at the top of the priority list. Thanks to all of your public comment up to this point. It truly made a difference! Put January 7th on you calendar to attend the City Council's vote. More details a few weeks out. Again...way to go y'all!!!!

Western NC is a large part of our lives. We love the rivers, mountains and people who live there. We have friends and family who are suffering there. There is a lot of information about how to help but we wanted to share a link too. Wow!!! Great news y'all! The results of the early July survey:

7% Unsupportive
92% SUPPORTIVE - 76% Strongly Supportive!!

Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with the City of Raleigh. Neuse River Park is even closer to becoming a unique natural playground for our area.

We still need your support with the Parks Board and City Council. More to come on that.

Choose Whitewater = Choose the Neuse River Park Concept Plan! We can achieve a unique exciting access on the Neuse River in Raleigh with your help!

The city wants your feedback. Tell them you fully support the concept plan and we are on our way to splashing downstream in a tube, SUP or kayak. Or enjoy relaxing on the rocks beside the river.

Thanks for joining us for Ride the River last Sunday! We tested the tubing run and it was refreshing! The new Neuse River Park will make tubing and paddling easier and more fun!
