We use sports as a catalyst to meet the needs of the Whole Child. Amazing Athletes is a sports-based fitness program specifically designed to teach children the basic fundamentals and mechanics of 10 different sports while also helping them to master 7 key areas of motor-development. Unlike other programs, Amazing Athletes is not guided free play. All of our programs use a custom year-round curric
ulum that is uniquely designed with specific goals in mind. We are aware of the developmental skills children need to be learning at each age, and we make sure that every child is actively engaged and on target to reach those milestones. Our coaches use progressive teaching techniques and age-appropriate equipment to introduce children to the basic skills of sports:
Track and Field
Basketball
Football
Golf
Baseball
Volleyball
Lacrosse
Soccer
Hockey
Tennis
We also focus on 7 key areas of motor-development and incorporate movement activities designed to advance a child’s hand-eye coordination, gross & fine motor skills, cardiovascular endurance, muscle tone, speed & agility and more. Amazing Athletes classes promote teamwork, encourage sportsmanship, build confidence, and improve coordination. The classes also act as an introduction to healthy choices and active living. There are numerous studies showing that young people who are physically active more readily adopt other healthy behaviors and demonstrate higher academic performance at school. As if that weren’t enough, there is no other program offered in Raleigh that allows your child to learn ten different sports in one program! Regular Amazing Athletes classes are 30 minutes in length and are held once a week; four times a month. The program is year-round and develops as your child does. We have some children start the class when they’re 18 months old and stay in until through elementary school. We highly encourage you to watch our educational documentary which goes into greater detail about the benefits of an early introduction to sports and physical fitness:
