Brown Belts are the last ranks before Black Belt ranks. They are the advanced students that are finally bringing all the teaching together to become close to expert students. Congratulations to our most recent class.

Monday, September 7 — regular class schedule, no changes. If you've got the day off, it's a good day to get on the mat.

New teens and adults class at 2:00 PM, taught by Mr. Myers.

T-shirt uniforms are extended through the end of September.

Green Belts are the first belts of the intermediate belt levels. They have become skilled at the basic techniques and are ready for the middle tier of knowledge, beginning to put the pieces together. Congratulations to our July promotions to Green Belt!

O'Sensei Wellendorf was Karate International's founder and the man in the logo. His vision and dedication to the art shaped the lives of THOUSANDS! Thank you O'Sensei. Please join us at the North Raleigh location to say goodbye.

At the request of his family, a memorial service will be held in his honor at Karate International on July 10, 2026, at 4720 Hargrove Road, Raleigh, NC 27616 at 4:00 pm. All are welcome!
