Father's Day wishes. Missing you so much ❤️ . ❤️Missing you extra today, Dad.❤️
It’s been four months since you left us on that quiet February morning, and not a day goes by that I don’t think about you. You went peacefully in your sleep, just like you lived.
I’ve been thinking a lot about your journey, Dad. How you worked so hard alongside Grandpa from your twenties until that accident changed everything in 1993. I know those years after were tough, and I’m sorry I wasn’t there to understand what you were going through. I was caught up in my own world, raising my family, trying to find my way. I wish I had been a better support to you during those difficult times.
But what I remember in last 12+ years most about you is your incredible spirit. Even through all the challenges, you always said, you had enough, that you were happy. You never complained about anything or anyone. You were always praising my brother and sister-in-law for being there with you. You and Mom had your ups and downs, but the love between you two was real - you were there for each other until the very end.
You taught me so much without even trying to teach me. Your work ethic, your passion for life and work, your ability to be grateful for what you had, your love for family, and how to be content with life’s simple blessings.
The way you left us was a gift too - no suffering, no pain, just peace. Even in death, you were thinking of others.
I carry your lessons with me every day, Dad.
Thank you for showing me what it means to live with dignity, gratitude, and love.
