An email from the league president will be coming out today to let everyone know that they are putting everyone including Flag in Tenino this season. Since we had 7 kids sign up for flag I tried to get it so we could keep them here but they don't want to do that. Cheer will also be going to Tenino.

Looking for a few more flag players grades (k-1). Registration ends in 5 days for regular registration and then goes up 50 dollars until the 30th.

9 more days until regular registration ends and an extra 50 dollars is added to registration. I need 2 or 3 more Flag kids (K-1st) to make a team we have 4 signed up now. Then still about 10 kids per for Minors (2nd-3rd) grade and MJV (4th-5th) grade. I know a lot of you need to get together and discuss who is playing and who isn't which is fine but if we aren't close on either tackle team by the 15th I'm going to call it for tackle this year and you will be able to go to Tenino or get a refund on your registration fee if you choose to go that route. 6th grade will combine with Tenino and Rochester again this year.

Thurston County Youth Football League provides premier football and cheer programs to K-8th grade youth in the Thurston, Mason, Lewis, and south Pierce County areas.

So it looks like we need about 10 more players for each the Minors (2nd-3rd graders), and MJV (4th and 5th graders) to field tackle teams. We need 2 more flag players to field a flag team. I know parents are putting off signing up because they don't want to play for another Franchise which is fine. I also know the other hangup is wanting to know they will get a full refund if we don't have enough players. Cheerleaders i would put off ordering uniforms until we know we have enough tackle players because i don't want you wasting money either.

Registration is open. Let's get those kids signed up. The toughest team to fill is 6th grade but as long as the kids that want to play Minors( 2nd and 3rd grade) and MJV ( 4th and 5th grade) get signed up we should be good to go on those teams. It kills us every year because people put off until the last minute and then ask if their are enough kids the last week of sign ups. Scholarships are available on a case to case basis as needed. Let's get those kids signed up.

Flag Football -Kindergarten-1st grade (grade in Fall 2026)
Flag Cheerleader -Kindergarten-1st grade (grade in Fall 2026)

Minors Tackle Football -2nd & 3rd graders
Minors Cheerleading -2nd & 3rd graders

MJV Tackle Football 4th & 5th grade
MJV Cheerleading 4th & 5th grade

MV Tackle Football 6th grade
MV cheerleading -6th-8th graders (If we don't have a MV football team, we merge cheerleaders with MJV).
