A full day of golf today with Lily and Josh advancing to the second day of State Golf! Lily finished today with a 71 - one over par and heads into tomorrow ranked #1 in the 1B/2B Tournament. Lily says "I didn't expect to play the way I did today. My goal for tomorrow is to play my own game and beat the course record."

Josh finished today with an 84 and is heading into tomorrow in the #11 spot in the 2B Tournament. He's happy with his results today as he is ready to take on tomorrow to improve on today's play.

Kyla, in her first season as a golfer, narrowly missed the cutoff for advancing by two strokes. She made incredible progress this season, always focusing on beating her previous best, and finished on a PR today over 18 holes with a 106. Congrats, Kyla!

We're cheering for you, Lily and Josh! Lily, may your last day on the course as a Rainier golfer be one to remember before you graduate! Go Mountaineers!

Not only did Lily win the District Tournament, but Lily, Kyla, and Madison combined for a score of 30 to win the District IV 1B/2B Girls Team Championship!

Three of our girls are moving onto day two of Districts! Kyla and Madison are ranked 13 and 14, and Lily is in the top spot of all the golfers!

Both Josh and Thomas are headed onto Day 2 for Districts!

Josh is in the third spot, and Thomas is in the eighth place. Tee time for Thomas is 10 am tomorrow, and Josh tees off at 10:10 am. Let's go, boys!

Our girls are headed to the District 4 Tournament tomorrow at Mint Valley in Longview. The tournament combines 1B and 2B lady golfers, with 20 available spots from our district. 11 will advance to the 1B/2B State Tournament at Liberty Lake in Spokane.

All of our varsity lady golfers have qualified for Districts. Lily tees off first at 11:10. Madison and Kyla follow at 11:40 am, and Chloe and Kenzie at 11:50 am.

The District 4 Golf Tournament begins tomorrow at Mint Valley Golf Course in Longview. There are 12 golfers from our district who made the cut for the tourney -- congrats to Josh and Thomas! They will be vying for the five spots to go to the 2B State Tournament at Liberty Lake in Spokane.

Josh tees off at 10:00 am and Thomas at 10:20 am. Good luck, golfers!

Today's the last regular season match of the year -- and though we've had our Senior Night for Lily at our last home match -- we recognize this is our last regular season match for Lily as a senior here at Rainier. Match play begins at 3:30 pm today at Riverside Golf Club -- come cheer on Lily and the team!
