🌟 Rencontrez Richard Bisson, Président du CÉNC de l’ACPS

Nous avons posé quelques questions à Richard afin de permettre à notre communauté de mieux le connaître.

He is a mentor and coach who has helped countless individuals develop their skills in this sport and we are very honored to have him on our team.

Lors de notre assemblée générale annuelle de 2026, nous avons remis des prix de bénévolat à plusieurs personnes. Notre troisième prix Cathy Johnson a été décerné à Richard Bisson.

For this competition we have been experimenting with Skydiver Desinger to help us engineer jumps. It’s a great tool to help you visualize the skydive and take those letters and numbers and turn them into helpful pictures. It’s really helpful if you want to look at different versions of formations to see what is more efficient. Once we started walking the jump and testing the options we would figure out what felt best for us on that jump.

If you want to see what the rounds looked like you can see all 10 rounds here!

We got off to a great start with a hot round 1 of 23 points and continued the momentum through the day. We’ve had 6 really good rounds today and are all really happy with how everything went, and so is our awesome coach Matt Davidson who scored a HUGE 50 points on round 1 with his team XP8.

Tomorrow is shaping up to be a good day for us with some of our favourite blocks. WOOHOO!

6 hours of tunnel over 6 days seemed like a lot when we started but coming into our last day we can’t believe how quickly it’s gone! Learning from a career athlete and solider has been a great experience. Matt Davidson has decades of training and competition experience, and he has been able to share a small part of that with us. He started us off with the fundamentals “stay off grips” and “look at your clone”. He built up our process over the week to setup formations correctly before taking grips, following key discipline and block technique. When we were ready we moved on to “speed” training, where we made this process more efficient and found where our line of was.

Today we are repeating the draw we did at the competition last year after Hell Week to see how we have improved.
