🏁 Weekend Recap | Summer Series & Championship Series #6: Rookie Extravaganza 🏁
What a week for WLH Racing! The highs were HIGH, the setbacks tested us, and these boys showed exactly what determination and grit look like.
🌞 Thursday Summer Series
💙 Lincoln was absolutely on another level. Starting from the pole in a field of 7 Blue Rookies, he never looked back—leading every lap and nearly lapping the entire field on his way to the 🏆 WIN! He drove hard, drove smart, and put on an incredible performance from green to checkered.
❤️ Weston started 6th in a field of 7 and was unfortunately caught up in a 3-car wreck with 19 laps to go. The impact bent his front axle, ending his night early with a DNF. Racing can be heartbreaking sometimes, but Dad spent all of Friday after work replacing the axle and getting everything ready to go again for Saturday.

The day started with plenty of challenges.
💙 During his heat race, Lincoln found himself in the wall, bending rods in the middle of the race. Somehow, he still fought his way to a 2nd-place finish! Back in the pits, Dad got the car up on the setup table and worked his magic to have it race-ready for the A-Main.
❤️ Weston’s heat race wasn’t his best. He wasn’t focused and finished at the back of the pack. After a few much-needed “come to Jesus” meetings, his mindset completely changed, and he came into the A-Main with determination and confidence.
Then it was time to race.
💙 Lincoln rolled off 2nd in his final-ever Blue Rookie race and once again drove a flawless race, taking home another 🏆 WIN! We couldn’t be more proud of how much he’s grown over these last several races.
A huge shoutout to his new friends Henry Albright Racing and Little E Racing for pushing and motivating Lincoln to become an even better racer. The friendships built at the track are just as special as the trophies.
❤️ Weston then took the track for the Junior Honda A-Main, starting 10th in a field of 11. After making adjustments to both the car and the attitude, he drove his best Junior Honda race yet! He stayed on pace, made smart decisions, navigated traffic with confidence, and worked his way up to an impressive 7th-place finish. We are so incredibly proud of the growth and determination he showed.
Week after week, these boys continue to learn, work hard, and never give up. The wins are amazing, but watching their perseverance and growth is what makes us the proudest.
We’ll be back at it again next Thursday and Saturday for another Summer Series and Championship Series race!
