Guardian Health & Performance Get Fit. Contact us. Constantly varied: in CrossFit, our training is general. We train for the unknown and the unknowable.

We train across a broad range of modalities (gymnastic/body weight movements, cardio, external load weights) in order to achieve total fitness. Other than the occasional “benchmark” WOD, you will not see the same workout twice. Each WOD (workout of the day) will work the full body, from core to extremity. You will NOT see isolated movements- such as lateral raises, bicep curls, leg extensions – typical of a big business “globo” gym.

Dear CrossFit Radford(GHP) Family,
After thirteen remarkable years dedicated to fostering both friendship and fitness, the chapter of my ownership at CrossFit Radford has come to a heartfelt close. From the very beginning, my aspiration was to pass the torch to someone who embodies an equal passion for our vibrant community, and I am pleased to announce that Jason and Tricia will be stepping into this role as the new owners starting this March.
This transition marks not just a change in leadership, but a continuation of the spirit and commitment that has defined our gym. I want to extend my deepest gratitude to everyone who has invested their energy, sweat, and enthusiasm into making CrossFit Radford more than just a workout space—it has truly become a family over the past decade.
Jason, Tricia, and I have engaged in thoughtful discussions about the future direction of the gym, ensuring that the values and community-centric focus remain at the forefront. I am genuinely excited about what lies ahead for all of you under his stewardship. I have every confidence that Jason and Tricia will bring fresh ideas and unwavering dedication to maintaining the incredible atmosphere we’ve built together.
While I will be stepping away, I am not stepping away from the local community and serving; my focus will shift towards family and new ventures in the coffee world at Riner Coffee, where I look forward to exploring fresh opportunities. I invite you all to join me there and share in this new adventure!
We are committed to making this transition as seamless and swift as possible, honoring the legacy built together and paving the way for continued growth and camaraderie within our community. Your support means the world to Jason Tricia, and me, and I cannot thank you enough for being such integral parts of this incredible journey.
