Racine Area Wrestling Club - RAW The intent of the wrestling club is to help teach self-esteem and the importance of hard work and discipline. Our goal at Racine Area Wrestling (R.A.W.)

is to provide male and female children ages 5-14 (must be in 8th grade) with the opportunity to participate in the sport of wrestling. The intent of the wrestling club is to help teach self-esteem and the importance of hard work and discipline.

We also stress the importance of good sportsmanship through the sport of wrestling. Additionally, the club uses wrestling for fun, meeting new friends an

d to participate in a family activity. We teach Folkstyle wrestling which is the high school format. This program is for beginners and experienced alike. The club is run by past and present parents, wrestlers and other interested volunteers. The club sponsors a tournament each year as a fundraiser for the club and to fund a scholarship. The money that is raised goes toward uniforms, gym fees, advertising and other fees. The scholarship is given to a graduating senior who is going on to higher education. We solicit your participation as everyone's time and energy is needed to keep the club successful.

Due to fumes from construction we are cancelling practice tonight for the safety of the wrestlers. We will resume practices next week.

If you are an incoming Freshman at Case HS and are interested in wrestling there is a meeting tonight at 6:00pm in the Field House followed by a voluntary practice. Practices will be on Tues and Thurs from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Also, please feel free to join our J.I. Case Wrestling Family group.
