Out with Andy and Jason. Saturdays catch. We put a bunch of Lake trout back, trying to find the larger class. Nearly got ran over by a "racing sailboat". Quite an experience.

Out with Jason for yesterdays 2 in a boat tourney. We didnt bother to weigh in, knowing it just wasnt going to get us where we needed to be. Low 30
It was a struggle out there, we ended up from racine (one fish early) down to kenosha and back north of wind point before getting the final 4 to complete our catch.

After work trip with Jason. The first catch was someones broken off leadcore with a board onmy wire diver. It had been down long enough to begin collecting mussels on the line . few, the spoon it had caught no fish....we tried it. Hit a few small trout, and decided to move south a bit. Eventually got into some decent silver. Biggest fish for the night was 19lbs.

Fished the Free Radical in yesterdays tournament. We lost a few upgrades that would have helped a bunch overall. Thats fishing. Still a great time with Jason Malicki and Andy Glass on a perfect day to be on the lake.

Here are the final standings for the 2023 Kenosha Classic.
Congratulations to Jim Mueller and the crew of the Storm Trooper for their win with a massive catch of 164.5lbs!

The winners of the Magnum Metalz Monster fish prizes were.
1st place. Teezer. 22.7lb Chinook
2nd place. Sea Alice. 22.6lb Lake Trout

It was a great turn out and it was really good seeing some new faces getting involved. Lets keep growing the sport of tournament salmon and trout fishing on the West Shore.

Next weekend is the Salmon Unlimited of IL Open. This will be out of North Point in IL. Also a stop on the South West Salmon series.
