What a way to close the season! Congratulations to our Raceland Worthington Middle School archers that competed at Top Shot Invitational today in Georgetown, Ky. Top Shot is an individual tournament, and participation is an invitation-only event for archers that have met a specific scoring thresholds for the year. We had 14 archers (73%!) from our team qualify to shoot with the best archers in KY NASP this year. While only 6 were able to compete today, and they brought their A-game. Congratulations to all of them on today’s performance!

The Raceland Worthington Middle School RAM Archery team embarked on a journey to Louisville yesterday for the highly anticipated KY NASP State championship, where they showcased their impressive skills and talent in the sport. With great focus and determination, our team achieved an admirable score of 3091, and had a great day at the range!

It is with immense pride that we congratulate every member of the Raceland Worthington Middle School RAM Archery team for their performance at the KY Nasp state championship. There are many developmental benefits to archery for participants of all ages, aside from the feeling of success you get from hearing the satisfactory “thud” of an arrow hitting its mark. Aside from physical benefits, studies have shown that participation in archery improves leadership skills, adds confidence, fosters respect, and develops honorable and competent adults. As we bring this season to a close, we know are archers are on target for even greater accomplishments in the future. 🎯

While we celebrate the success of our archers, we also again express our heartfelt gratitude to the generous Bullseye season sponsors who played a vital role in making this season possible: American Legion Post 325 Flatwoods, Kentucky, Elder Law of Eastern Kentucky, PLLC, and Apotheom have been instrumental in supporting us throughout this incredible journey. We are truly thankful for your unwavering commitment towards fostering growth and excellence within our team.

A pre-state scrimmage at Greenup County High School this weekend gave the Raceland Worthington Middle School Ram Archers their final first place of the season, with a team score of 3107.

A strong and victorious finish to the season at this weekend’s Red Devil Shootout State Qualifer. The Raceland Worthington Middle School Archery team scored their season high of 3141, securing first place and finishing the state qualifying portion of the season UNDEFEATED!

A score of 3135 for our Raceland Worthington Middle School 6-8th grade RAM Archery team this weekend, securing their 8th consecutive first place title (of 8 ) at the Fairview Eagles State Qualifier.

Our collective Raceland Archery teams (high, middle, and elementary) hosted the Raceland Shoot Out State Qualifier this weekend at the Raceland Worthington Middle School- three days of shooting, with 35 participating schools 800 archers! Congratulations to all of our participating archers and schools!

For our RAM Archery Middle School team, they achieved a team score of 3132, securing their 8th consecutive 1st place title, remaining undefeated this season!
