A few highlights from the Creed 10U’s first 2 games as a new unit. These ballers went 2 and 0 with stats that are worth recognizing.. The boys GRINDED on the mound with 92 pitches delivered Vs. 141 thrown from their opponents only giving up 3 runs in 20 opposing at bats with 1 defensive error to their fault.

On the offensive side of things they lit it up starting with discipline at the plate taking 13 walks, and only having 2 strikeouts. They crushed the baseball when they were given the opportunity combining as a team for 23 hits on 23 at bats with 12 RBI’s. The were aggressive and accurate on the base paths with 24 stolen bases..

The Offensive MVP of the day was way too close to call as I’m watching on Game Changer from the beach in Florida especially with Brodee Bradley, Cash Jacobs and Mason Miller all coming in clutch with big hits from the 2, 6 and 7 holes accounting for 10 of the 12 RBI’s! I love it when picking the OMVP is hard especially when it’s because so many of them lit the baseball up! The defense MVP for the day goes to Mr. Adrian Alvarado! Adrian threw 68% strikes, with 1 walk and ZERO RUNS SCORED on 3 hits.. Great Job Creed Defense for backing up your man on the hill,
that’s what Team work is all about!

A Huge thank you to Charlie Bradley, Dustin Miller, and Paul Jacobs for doing such a great job coaching these boys while I was away..

The 9U Creed kicked off their spring season in Longview at the USSSA SHOW UP AND SHOW OUT tournament and while the team didnt make it to “the ship” due to a very talented team we faced twice, once was to get to the championship game, we had some standouts efforts this weekend that I want recognize!

The CollisionX heavy hitter of the weekend for the ETX Creed goes to Kaysen Haire. This kid came through clutch with bombs and base rips at EVERY at bat over two days! My pal KP did damage to the baseball!

The Karen Peterson Baldwin Realty All Around Baller award goes to Brodee Bradley! Brodee is a great utility player and won’t be out worked, but in his pitching debut this weekend he only gave up 4 hits for 2 earned runs against a team that crushes the baseball… He was a beast behind the plate when called upon to catch and had multiple stolen bases on the weekend to help the offense..

The Whiskey Rays Boutique Tournament MVP was too close for me to call so I went to game changer for help.. (still too close to call, go look at the recap for the games if you don’t believe me) Lincoln Labit and Adrian Alvarado were HUGE both offensively and defensively! Lincoln has always been a force to be reckoned with at 2nd base but on Saturday he pitched 2 innings only allowing one hit and one earned run! He started us off today in the semi finals game and continued drilling the strike zone!

Adrian, a new player for Creed impresses me more and more every day! He had NEVER stepped foot on a mound until about 10 days ago but his athletic ability and GRIT is that of a seasoned veteran! He pitched 4 innings early this morning giving up 3 hits for 2 runs, (only one was earned) and he pitched 2 innings in relief this afternoon allowing ZERO walks…

Both Adrian and Lincoln lit their bats up in tight situations and led the Creed by example all weekend!
