π903 Youth Football & Cheer Playoffs are finally here!π
π’Hereβs a few reminders to ensure your athlete and family have the best time possible at either of our hosting sites
π1. Donβt get lost! Know your game site and game time well in advance and double check it. Plan your route ahead of time and make sure your athlete is prepped and ready to conquer the day.
π2. Be flexible! Games can run early or late so go with the flow. Arrive promptly when your Coach tells you to and practice some patience if another game is running over. Remember that every athlete from every town deserves their time on the field!
π3. Mind your manners! 903YFC and all its member towns have a simple code of conduct. Never yell derogatory remarks at referees, coaches, and especially not the kids. Be kind and courteous to all game day patrons and show all athletes respect that their hard work deserves. No alcohol is allowed on school property in the state of Texas.
π4. Stay with your child! Our host sites will be very crowded with a wide variety of game day patrons coming and going. All kids both athlete and not are required to ALWAYS be with a parent/guardian or Coach. If they need to make a trip to the restroom, concession, or especially the parking lot for any reason be sure they have an adult with them.
π5. Avoid restricted areas! Only authorized, background checked, and badged personnel are allowed inside the fence and gates that surround the field. Absolutely no pick-up football games, horseplay, or distractions should take place inside the game field fence; this includes the spare area behind each end zone. Please keep all focus and energy on the kids on the field whose hard work has earned their day to shine.
π6. Have fun! Our host sites and league volunteers have worked tirelessly to create an exciting postseason for all our towns, and we are ready to welcome families from all over East Texas! Please come with a good attitude, ready to hype up the day and provide an electric atmosphere for the kids!
