At Legacy Martial Arts, we believe leadership isn't about a title. It’s about the legacy you build through your actions. Today we lost a true icon. Dolly Parton wasn't just a legend in music. She was a legend in leadership, kindness, and generosity.

Mrs. Bentley has long looked up to Dolly Parton as a role model; an example of someone whose kindness, work ethic, and generosity inspire people to become their best selves. Her example taught millions that greatness isn't about status; it's about lifting others up along the way.

Where you train matters. As you search for the best martial arts training facility for you or your child, please make sure you ask yourself (and the school owner) these questions:

1. Are the instructors experienced and highly trained?
2. Is it a safe and insured facility?

When you come to Legacy, you can rest assured the answer is YES to both of these questions!

At our Quincy facility, you will enjoy over 5,000 square feet of training space that is CLEAN and inviting. We take pride in our high standards making sure it is a safe place for everyone who trains.

As for our instructors, not only are they incredibly talented (five of our instructors are world champions) but they are all certified by the ATA with rigorous instructor training requirements, and they are continuously training throughout the year to increase their knowledge and teaching skills. We never stop learning! Above all, background checks are also required for all our instructors. Your safety matters! Please make sure that wherever you choose to train that this is a requirement for anyone working at the school who will have an influence on your child.

Our students and potential students can breathe easy knowing we have partnered with the U.S. Center for SafeSport to ensure we are meeting the highest of standards. The U.S. Center for SafeSport is an independent, nonprofit organization dedicated to making athlete well-being the centerpiece of sports culture by improving accountability. This is the same training used to train over 500,000 Olympic Movement members and major sports organizations and we are so proud to be a part of it.
