Here are 3 funny (and safe!) things you can do instead of slamming your putter onto the green after a missed shot:

1. Drop to your knees and look up at the sky dramatically
• Bonus points if you yell, “Why, golf gods, why?!”
• Great for comic relief and lets out the frustration theatrically.

2. Blame an imaginary squirrel
• Point toward the trees and say, “Did anyone else see that squirrel sneeze? Totally threw off my aim.”
• Keeps it light and gives your group a laugh.

3. Whisper to your putter like it betrayed you
• “I thought we had something special.”
• Then gently place it back in the bag like you’re giving it a timeout.

Hi all—Mr Gannon has asked that everyone make up tonight’s couples score (best ball) before next Thursday, July 3rd. Also, for next Thursday, a free round of drinks will be provided for the partners with the most patriotic decorated cart, and the most patriotic dressed partners. Next week will be the first “Red, White, and Blue” mixed league night. See you all there!
