Many more pictures & videos on the way, but yesterday was a great day of lax in Queensbury. 51 girls from NY, MA, & VT attended our Taylor Cummings clinic featuring Maddie Montgomery & Brittany Barton.

Girls spent 3 hours with our coaches, had some incredible q&a sessions, went home with some awesome signed clinic t-sh*ts, and 6 lucky girls also recieved some incredible Gait Lax swag.

Taylor, Maddie, & Britt received a 40stixters jersey signed by each of the girls that attended the clinic. The 40Stixters tent also received a personalized message from each of our clinic coaches that all current and future 40stixters will see during their upcoming games/tournaments.

Maddie Montgomery, (Bio below) will be leading a station at the 40Stixters/Taylor Cummings clinic AAdirondack Sports Complex: "The Dome"on the 9th in Queensbury.

Maddie is a 2019 graduate of Queensbury and has had an incredible career as part of the William Smith women’s lacrosse team. Maddie was the IWLCA National MidFielder of the Year in addition to the Liberty league midfielder of the year. As a D3 player she is 7th in nation in goals & 28th in points, holds William Smith’s draw control record (246), is second on the goal list (203), and fourth on career points list (249).

Since graduating from Queensbury, Maddie has remained very active in the local lacrosse community, training several local lacrosse players in both group & one on one sessions during her summers.

4 hour clinic, featuring Taylor Cummings, Maddie Montgomery, & Brittany Barton at the Dome in Queensbury. Each small group (no more than 25/group) will spend an entire hour with each coach, have a Q&A session with each coach, & receive a clinic t-shirt (signs ups after 8/1 aren't guaranteed a t-shirt in their size).

Similar clinics are $200+, this clinic is being run at cost ($130/girl) as an opportunity for all girls in the region. Open to any player 5th-12th grade.

Attention goalies....Queensbury High School Head Coach J David Huth is running an open clinic for goalies (girls or boys) August 1st from 11am-noon. Fields 1N & 2N (back qirls lax fields). Cost is $30, no sign up required. Show up ready to learn & have some fun---Dave will have your goalie performing just like the standout 40stixter goalie in this picture from our spring season!!

Registration still open, clinic is capped at 75

The Adirondack 40Stixters are proud to announce registration for the upcoming summer skills clinic featuring Taylor Cummings, Maddie Montgomery, and Brittany Barton is now open.

This clinic will be held on August 9th from 9am-1pm at the Dome in Queensbury. Registration is capped at 75, Girls in 5th-12th grade will be split into 3 groups and spend an entire hour with each of the clinic leaders.

Taylor Cummings is the only 3-time Tewaaraton winner, Gold medalist in both the World Cup & World games and was named to the All-World Team. A graduate of Maryland Taylor played in 4 consecutive NCAA National Title games, winning 2 with the terps.

Brittany is a 2020 graduate of Queensbury and just completed her junior year as a defensive standout on the D1 Vermont Catamount women’s lacrosse team. In her junior year Brittany ranked 4th on the team in caused turnovers (15), 5th on the team in ground balls (22) all while competing with the #58 nationally ranked Catamount’s.

The mission of Adirondack 40Stixters Girls Lacrosse is to provide an organized and structured athletic program that promotes positive sportsmanship and fair play while building self­-esteem and teaching valuable life skills in a safe, supportive, instructional environment.

The objective of Adirondack 40Stixters Girls Lacrosse is for all participants to learn the skills necessary to play lacrosse with emphasis on fun and personal development through self-­discipline, physical fitness and respect for themselves, teammates, opponents, officials, and their coaches.
