Hoagland Sports Services is proud to congratulate our founder, Connor Hoagland, on his appointment as Vice President of Regional Operations for United Collegiate Umpires.
In this expanded leadership role, Connor will support collegiate officials, conference offices, coaches, and administrators throughout Upstate New York and New England. His responsibilities will focus on strengthening communication, supporting officials’ development and advancement, enhancing client service, and contributing to UCU’s continued regional growth.
This appointment reflects Connor’s longstanding commitment to officiating excellence, professional development, relationship-building, and service to the game. We are excited to see him move forward in this position while continuing to build meaningful opportunities for officials and deliver exceptional service to collegiate baseball programs throughout the region.
This appointment will only strengthen the operations and opportunities for our umpires and the leagues we currently serve.

UCU President, Rudy Firmbach, today announced the completion of the UCU staff, under his leadership, with the formalized additions of John Gallante and Connor Hoagland as VPs of Regional Operations in their respective geographic areas.
Building on their years of work inside the organization to date, these formalized roles are part of a broader effort to build a team within the organization that continues to give every client, coaching group and umpire the same personal attention and dedicated service they have always received across every level of collegiate baseball.
