We’re thrilled to announce that the NYC Ryder Cup of Darts 2026 is proudly supporting the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation as our official charity!

The Story Behind Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers

On September 11, 2001, FDNY firefighter Stephen Siller heard news of the attacks over his scanner while he was off-duty and heading to play golf with his brothers. Immediately abandoning his plans, he drove to the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel, which had been closed for security. Undeterred, he strapped 60 pounds of firefighting equipment on his back and ran 1.7 miles on foot through the tunnel toward the World Trade Center to help save lives and made the ultimate sacrifice that day. In his memory, the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation was established in December 2001, to follow in his footsteps and “do good” by making a positive difference in the lives of others.

Today, the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation is dedicated to honoring America’s first responders and military heroes. The foundation has raised more than $500 million to provide mortgage-free homes to Gold Star families and the families of fallen first responders.

Why We Chose Them
This partnership is especially meaningful this year. 2026 marks both the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation’s 25th anniversary and the 25th anniversary of 9/11. It’s a powerful moment to come together and support an organization born from that tragedy and dedicated a quarter-century to honoring those who answered the call.
