Happy World Ocean Day. 🌊

The ocean covers 71% of this planet, produces over half the oxygen we breathe, and contains the most extraordinary living things most humans will never see. We get to see them. And every time we drop below the surface, it still stops us in our tracks.
Reefs that take your breath away. Creatures that glow in the dark. Animals that have been here for hundreds of millions of years doing exactly what they were built to do. We are the visitors, and it is an honor every single time.

Cuttlefish have three hearts! 🤯

Two Branchial Hearts: Each heart pumps unoxygenated blood to one of the cuttlefish’s two gills.

One Systemic Heart: This main heart receives the freshly oxygenated blood and pumps it throughout the rest of the body.
